14-day material test to determine the cyclic effects of runway deicing compounds on cadmium plated parts.
Revision A: is made to provide a standard size for the bar called in Para 3 and to clarify the Test results.
In Para 3. Change the test specimen size from 25.40 × 50.80 × 1.02 mm (1 by 2 by 0.040 inch) to 25.4 × 50.8 × 1.22 mm (1 by 2 by 0.048 inch) (see ASTM F1111)
In para 6. “Total weight loss more than 0.0077g” is removed and the criteria will be 0.3mg/CM2.
