About This Item

This SAE Standard specifies the requirements for the electro-deposition of cadmium on non-corrosion resisting steel items for protection against corrosion, and on copper based alloy items and corrosion resisting steel items for the reduction of contact corrosion of less noble metallic materials. This Standard is a direct replacement for DEF STAN 03-19 and has been reproduced by SAE International under the Open Government Licensing Agreement.
