AMS2641D revises form (1.1) to clarify that the requirements of the specification are only meant to apply to newly manufactured materials, revises acid number (3.2.5) to align with industry standards ASTM D3242 and ASTM D1655, and results from a Five-Year Review and update of this specification. AMS2641D has been reaffirmed to comply with the SAE Five-Year Review policy.
