About This Item

This specification covers polythioether rubber fuel resistant sealing compounds supplied as a two-component system which cures at room temperature. Remove minimum flow (Class B only) and minimum swell requirements from spec IAW G-9 Committee vote. Clarified Batch/Lot language and made minor editorial corrections. Changed Titanium specification reference to AMS4911 (from AMS4901) to be consistent with other AMS specifications and return to original MIL-S-29574 alloy reference. Remove catalyst viscosity requirement in accordance with QPG recommendation. Added alternative composite material (IM7/977-3).
