About This Item

This specification covers an aluminum alloy in the form of extruded rods, bars, and profiles (shapes) 0.040 to 4.500 inches (1.02 to 114.30 mm), inclusive, in thickness produced with maximum cross sectional area of 56.1 square inches (36199 mm2) and a maximum circumscribing circle diameter (circle size) of 24.4 inches (620 mm) (see 2.4.1 and 8.6). AMS4367A results from a Five-Year Review and update of this specification with changes to prohibit unauthorized exceptions (3.4.1, 3.7, 4.4.1, 5.1.1, 8.5), update form (1.1), applicable documents (Section 2), properties (Table 2B), electrical conductivity (3.4.4), acceptance tests (4.2.1), ordering information (8.6), and allow the use of the immediate prior specification revision (8.4).
