About This Item

This specification covers a corrosion- and heat-resistant iron alloy in the form of investment castings. AMS5376J is the result of a Five-Year Review and update of the specification. The revision updates the Title to include the commercial name (see 8.4), clarifies CEO approval requirements (see 3.1 and throughout), adds strain rate control during tensile testing (see 3.5.1.2), adds pyrometry to response to heat treatment (see 3.6), updates and expands reporting, including country of origin identification (see 4.5), adds option for serialization (see 4.5.5, 5.1.2, and 8.5), removes the exclusion requirements (see 3.8 and 4.5.1 Rev. H), and adds dimensional inspection to ordering requirements (see 8.5).
