About This Item

This specification covers a corrosion and heat-resistant nickel alloy in the form of bars, forgings, and flash welded rings up to 5.0 inches (127mm) in least nominal cross-sectional dimension having a cross-sectional area not greater than 50 in2 (323 cm2), and stock of any size for forging or flash welded rings (see 8.5). AMS5442B revises properties (3.5.1.6), reports (4.4), and identification (5.2.1.1), and is a Five-Year Review and update of this specification. AMS5442B has been reaffirmed to comply with the SAE Five-Year Review policy.
