About This Item

This specification covers a corrosion- and heat-resistant nickel alloy in the form of bars, forgings, flash welded rings. Product covered by this specification is limited to a nominal 3.25 inches (82.6 mm) and under in diameter or maximum cross-sectional dimension between parallel sides (thickness) and stock of any size for forging and for flash welded rings. AMS5707P is the result of a Five-Year Review and update. The revision updates the title to match the scope, prohibits unauthorized exceptions (3.8, 5.2.1.1, 8.5), updates composition testing (3.1, 3.1.1), adds strain rate requirements (3.5.1.1.1), updates hardness requirements (3.5.1.2), includes forging stock requirements (8.6), and allows prior revisions (8.4).
