The revisions adds information on stress-corrosion cracking (see 1.2.1), clarifies composition reporting (see 3.1.1), updates the heat-treatment specification (see 3.2.2), modifies Jominy test requirements (see 3.3.1), updates the testing procedures for decarburization (see 3.3.4), adds pyrometry controls (see 3.3.5), addresses changes to AMS2301 requirements (see 4.2.1 and 4.4.3), and updates the prohibitions on exceptions (see 4.4.2 and 8.6).
