This specification covers a Perfluorocarbon (FFKM) rubber in the form of molded rings, compression seals, o-ring cord, and molded-in-place gaskets for aeronautical and aerospace applications. Specification has been revised to incorporate AMS3085 (Reference Oil 300) to replace AMS3021 (Stauffer 7700), to increase the temperature for testing AMS3085 from 175 °C to 200 °C, Addition of compression set testing in AMS3085 as well as long term compression set testing (Table 1 – 3.2.7), to modify the acceptance tests (Table 2 and 3), to include qualification by responsible QPL agency to a Qualified Products List (QPL.) and to use the new specification template developed by the CE Committee.
