This document establishes the minimum criteria for effective training of air carrier and contractor personnel to deice/anti-ice aircraft to ensure the safe operation of aircraft during ground icing conditions. Appendix D specifies requirements for particular airplane models. Revision A of this document provides updated information in conjunction with other applicable SAE documents and editorial changes. Appendix D (Application Guidelines) now includes latest aircraft models and engines running guidelines were incorporated.
