About This Item

This specification defines the requirements for A-286 cres T-bolts and eye bolts, with room temperature tensile strength of a minimum of 160,000 psi, for use with clamps and V-band couplings at 1,000 °F maximum ambient temperature. The revision is to delete cancelled specifications, add new and relevant specifications, add the QML/QPL requirements, correct some of the measurement values, add measurement values for a new size eye-bolt, re-evaluate some tests and improve general readability.
