About This Item

This specification establishes the design, performance, and test requirements for hydraulic quantity measuring fuses intended to be used for hydraulic circuit protection. Subsequent to the cancellation of MIL-F-5006, Quantity Measuring Fuse-Hydraulic, the SAE committee membership determined there was a need for a replacement specification which is presented below. AS5466 has been reaffirmed to comply with the SAE Five-Year Review policy.
