The purpose of the annexes in this document are to provide guidance on how to associate data models expressed in other notations with an architecture model expressed in AADL, to enable modeling of component and component interaction behavior in a state-machine based annex sublanguage, and to provide guidance on how to model ARINC653 compliant partitioned embedded system architectures in AADL models. This Architecture Analysis & Design Language (AADL) standard document was prepared by the SAE AS-2C Architecture Description Language Subcommittee, Embedded Computing Systems Committee, Aerospace Avionics Systems Division. AS5506/2 has been reaffirmed to comply with the SAE Five-Year Review policy.
