This procurement specification covers aircraft quality bolts and screws made from a corrosion resistant austenitic iron base alloy of the type identified as SAE 30302 and of 125 000 psi tensile strength at room temperature. Update para 3.7 by adding “two to” three threads in agreement with NASM1312-8 test methodology. Added para 4.2, completely revised para 4.4.4 and Tables 4, 5, 6 and 7 by removing sampling in accordance with MIL-STD-105 (AQL) and replacing with accept on “zero”. General updating for SAE requirements for obsolete specifications and standards.
