This specification covers three series of environment resisting, circular, miniature electrical connectors (plugs and receptacles) with removable crimp and/or nonremovable solder contacts, and accessories. The connectors are only recommended for replacement and are not specified for aircraft applications (refer to AS50881). Revision is required to add AIR1351 reference, to replace MIL-HDBK-454 reference with the applicable information, to replace images with word text and to update all document references to reflect latest published versions. AS81703B has been reaffirmed to comply with the SAE Five-Year Review policy.
