About This Item

This Engineering Bulletin and its annexes provide guidance on the application of Human Engineering principles and practices to the analysis, design, development, testing, fielding, support, accident investigation, and training for military and commercial products throughout their intended life cycles. MIL-STD-46855A stands as the authoritative source of Human Engineering (HE) principles and practices. From a technical perspective, HEB1C is largely duplicative with MIL-STD46855A and no longer serves its original function. It does, however, have an historical record worth keeping. Now that version C has been approved and published, the G-45 Committee would like to stabilize HEB1C and end the revision cycle.
