SAE Technical review corrected various references Title was changed to move towards harmonization with other parts of the world. This was decided at the 2012 Fall meeting in Charlotte, NC and confirmed in the December TF meeting to change the name to “Front Position Lamp” Changed all occurrences of the term “parking” to “front position” Changed Scope to match Title Added J1889 to reference section as it is now part of the document Added definition of ‘Front Position lamp” Changed definition of “Parking Lamp” to align with new title Renumbered section 5.1.1 and added addition of J1889 for LED lamps Made small clarification to 6.1.5.2 Added - 7.1.5. Front Position lamps may be activated along with the activation of a DRL
