About This Item

This document provides a mapping between provider service identifiers (PSIDs)—allocated to SAE by the appropriate registration authorities—and SAE technical specifications of applications identified by those PSIDs. It is intended that this document will be updated regularly, including information about the publication status of SAE technical reports. This updates SAE J3268 as published to address three issues: 1 SAE J3268 as published refers to SAE documents which are not yet published. It is SAE policy not to refer to unpublished SAE documents. The proposed revision removes those references. 2 Since the initial approval of SAE J3268, one new PSID (0p80-11, Maneuver Coordination Service) has been issued to SAE, and three PSIDs (0pE0-00-00-15, 0pE0-00-00-16, 0pE0-00-00-17) have been transferred to SAE control. The proposed revision includes these PSIDs. 3 In SAE J3268 as published, the decimal value corresponding to hex 0x20-40-99 was incorrect. The proposed revision fixes this.
